Terms of use
Sheila guide · Intelligence Technology Laboratories LLC · Portland, Oregon, USA
Company policy effective August 27, 2026.
This guide explains how the company policy relates to Sheila. The full company policy contains the complete terms and controls if this guide leaves anything out. This guide does not replace it.
Who may use Sheila
The company terms cover business, trade, or professional use by adults age 18 or older who can make a binding agreement. You must give correct account details, keep your login private, and tell us if someone else gets into your account. A separate signed agreement may take priority if it conflicts with the company terms.
Using Sheila
Sheila is a multi-model AI assistant for writing, learning, coding, and planning. You need an account to send a question. Auto can choose an efficient model for a simple request and step up for harder work. Different models and message lengths use credit at different rates. Answers can be wrong; check important facts before you rely on them.
You keep ownership of the content you give us. The full terms explain the license needed to process it, ownership of service materials, third-party services, service availability, warranty limits, liability, and what happens when an account ends. Features can change, and no uninterrupted service or particular answer quality is promised.
Plans and credit
Creating a Sheila account needs no card. New accounts receive $2 in one-time starting credit, not $2 every month. Free use is limited by available credit. Sheila's current billing screen shows monthly and yearly plan choices, and its checkout uses Stripe. Check the price, renewal interval, and included credit shown there before paying. The company-wide terms describe monthly Squarespace checkout and also mention PayPal; those descriptions do not establish the terms of Sheila's yearly choice.
The full terms cover renewal, price changes, cancellation, free-tier limits, and payment disputes. We have not set a separate rule here for refunds or expiry of purchased credit or yearly Sheila plans. Ask support before buying if you need those details in writing. Laws that give you rights still apply.
Acceptable use
Do not break laws or others' rights, send spam, use stolen or scraped contact lists unlawfully, impersonate others, upload malware, attack the service, work around limits, or make harmful or illegal content. Do not use AI output for a decision that has a serious effect on a person without meaningful human review. The full terms also cover resale, copying the platform, and other limits.
If you use any separate outbound email, text, or voice tool, you are responsible for required consent, opt-outs, and applicable law. Sheila chat does not itself mean those tools are connected or available. Read the complete acceptable-use section in the full company terms before using such tools.
Disputes and legal rights
The full company terms explain Oregon governing law and how disputes are handled, along with limits of liability, warranty disclaimers, suspension, and termination. Some laws do not allow certain limits. Those mandatory rights still apply. Read the full terms before agreeing; this short guide does not replace their legal language.
